Just outside Belgrano train station

Horarios de atención: Everyday from 9am to 9pm

Just outside Belgrano train station, on Arribeños street, we find the epicenter of the Chinatown of the City of Buenos Aires. The first thing that surprises us is the great welcoming arch of eleven meters high, built in marble and cement, with ornaments typical of Chinese culture. Beyond the arch we can find gifts, bijouterie, makeup, decoration, clothing, spices, typical foods, leather goods... all in a particular atmosphere, marked by the frenetic pace of the people and the aromas of oriental cuisine that flood everything. The Chinatown is ideal for a family walk, to buy souvenirs and to try new flavors.

Not to be missed: We recommend not leaving the Chinatown without entering the typical supermarkets of the place. They are excellent fish and seafood fresh outlets, all at a very good price and special quality. But it is also very interesting to visit the gondolas and find all kinds of oriental products: huge sacks of rice, instant soups, spices, oils, dozens of varieties of soy sauce, beverages with "pearls", fortune cookies, sweets, ice creams... There is something for everyone. Impossible not to leave these supermarkets without new flavors to try at home.
