Buenos Aires is a cosmopolitan and diverse city, open to all kinds of cultural and religious manifestations. Considering the increasing importance that the Muslim community was having in the country, in 2000 the Islamic Cultural Center King Fahd was inaugurated, with the largest mosque in the region. The building stands out in the neighborhood of Palermo for its particular architecture. Inside there is a kindergarten, a primary school, a theater, a library and a 2000 m2 worship area covered with elegant carpets and topped by a beautiful crystal chandelier three meters high.

Not to be missed: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 12 noon, there are free guided tours open to the public. You can only enter the mosque wearing appropriate clothes for this type of temple, which is, without wearing anything tight, and with legs, arms and neckline covered. At the same time, whoever is interested in learning to speak Arabic, at the King Fahd Islamic Cultural Center, language classes are taught.
